The Laslett, “Made in Notting Hill”

Proud of its roots, the Laslett has settled into Notting Hill and pays homage, in its way, to one of the symbolic personalities of the neighbourhood.

Located in the heart of Notting Hill, a stone's throw from Hyde Park, The Laslett hotel carries the name of the founder of the Notting Hill carnival (Rhaune Laslett), that occurs annually in the month of August.

The establishment's 51 rooms and suites are actually spread out through five Victorian landmark houses that Tracy Lowy, owner and art collector, has transformed into veritable cocoons that are both elegant and refined. For the decor, she has mixed design furniture, baubles and art objects of all kinds found in flea markets and antique shops on her travels or even on Portobello Road just a few steps away. For the restaurant, Tracy Lowy again turned to London heritage. Chef Sally Clarke, a major figure of gastronomy in London, creates typically British food at the Henderson. You will have understood that the Laslett is “so British”.
