Located directly above the Kintetsu station, in the south of Osaka and close to the lively Namba quarter, the Abeno Harukas skyscraper (part of the Abenobashi Terminal Building complex) houses Japan's largest shopping mall on its first 16 floors. Here, shopping and dining are spread over 160,000 square metres. The 16th floor, a mandatory step when ascending to the heights, opens onto a free outdoor garden and a small art museum.
After several floors of offices spread over 62,000 square metres, the Marriott Miyako features 360 rooms from the 38th floor and a restaurant on the 57th floor. The observatory, perched on the 58th and 59th floors, impresses with its large windows, which offer a breathtaking panorama of the city, especially at night. Nearby, the large Tennōji Park sends you a flash of green. The Tsutenkaku, a cousin of the Eiffel Tower that was built in the heart of the popular Shinsekai neighbourhood, shines in all its glory while, further north, the silhouette of the legendary Osaka Castle can be seen.
