Before embarking on the great adventure of Cookoovaya, five friends, chefs who were passionate about cooking, studied new trends in gastronomy and pondered over what was missing in Athens. Based on their reflection, they created Cookoovaya and named Spiros Pavlidis as chef to offer their guests their dishes in tune with the times. They officiate in a completely open kitchen to provide the restaurant with the conviviality of traditional Greek establishments.
The principle of Cookoovaya is simple: a "concentration" of Greece in different plates always composed of fresh products and meant to be shared. On the menu, you will find the famous Greek salad reinvented by the chef, but also a succulent tartar of tuna in lemon and a carpaccio of beef with truffle oil and, for dessert, a perfect tarte tatin with pears, unless you prefer a bougatsa, a Greek pastry with cinnamon, served with vanilla ice cream.
